Recently, Shenma Co., Ltd.'s Nylon 66 colored filament project has achieved full industrialization, marking a significant breakthrough for the company in the research and development of high-end fiber new materials and green manufacturing.

"Currently, the colored filament products have achieved stable mass production, with significant improvements in various performance indicators, especially in color uniformity and color fastness, enhancing our product competitiveness in the high-end market," said a relevant person in charge of the Curtain Fabric Development Company.

Colored filament, scientifically known as "dope-dyed fiber," is produced using internationally advanced dope-dyeing technology. This involves mixing color masterbatch with Nylon 66 polymer before spinning, allowing color molecules to form a permanent bond with the polymer chains. This technology not only eliminates subsequent dyeing and finishing processes, greatly reducing water and chemical consumption, but also significantly enhances the fiber's resistance to UV, washing, and abrasion, preventing fading and whitening, truly achieving an integrated coexistence of color and fiber.

In addition, colored filament also possesses the excellent inherent properties of Nylon 66, with a strength above 8.2 grams per denier, good resilience, strong wrinkle resistance, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability. It is especially suitable for various differentiated application scenarios such as high-end outdoor equipment, automotive interiors, and industrial reinforcement, with broad market prospects.

Previously, due to unstable color fastness and poor fabric color uniformity, this product had not been widely promoted. Earlier this year, the company's production technology department launched a full-process technical breakthrough campaign. By optimizing polymer flow properties, redesigning spinning components, finely tuning process parameters, and collaborating with color masterbatch suppliers to improve formulations, they successfully overcame key technologies related to dispersion and hairiness control, achieving a leap in product quality.

At the same time, the dope-dyeing technology adopted by the company has significant environmental value. Compared to traditional dyeing processes, it saves 55% water consumption, reduces energy consumption by 44%, and lowers the chemical oxygen demand of wastewater by 34%.

Currently, all production lines of the Curtain Fabric Development Company have completed technical upgrades and are capable of producing colored filament. Since the announcement of mass production, the market response has been strong. The company has reached long-term cooperation agreements with multiple high-end customers in the south, with a monthly output of 80 to 100 tons, and the price per ton is about 2,500 yuan higher than ordinary fibers, resulting in significant economic benefits.

Next, Shenma Co., Ltd. will continue to increase research and development efforts in Nylon 66 fiber new materials, further expanding the family of colored, multifunctional, and high-performance fiber products, injecting new momentum into the company's high-quality development.
