Recently, after conducting multiple rounds of market research and supplier evaluations, the technical team at Hydrogen Chemical Company rigorously selected high-quality domestic suppliers. Through a series of rigorous procedures—including performance testing and compatibility verification—they successfully achieved the domestic substitution of spare parts for the high-pressure coal slurry pumps used in gasification units.

The unit is equipped with a Firova high-pressure coal slurry pump, with an outlet pressure reaching up to 6 MPa. This pump can deliver high-concentration coal slurry from the first floor of the gasification unit directly into the gasifier on the ninth floor, ensuring a continuous and stable supply of coal slurry for water-coal slurry gasification. The pump boasts the advantages of high pressure and stable flow rate.

As a critical piece of imported equipment, the supply of spare parts for this high-pressure coal slurry pump had long relied on overseas procurement. Not only did the delivery cycle extend as long as five months, but procurement costs remained stubbornly high, posing certain constraints on equipment maintenance, upkeep, and continuous production operations. To overcome this challenge and enhance our supply chain’s autonomy and controllability, the company’s technical team set its sights on the goal of “reducing costs, improving efficiency, and ensuring self-reliance,” and launched an intensive effort to replace foreign-made spare parts with domestically produced alternatives.

This substitution has dramatically shortened the spare parts delivery cycle from five months to just 20 days, significantly enhancing equipment maintenance response speed and production assurance capabilities. It is estimated that annual maintenance costs will be reduced by nearly 2 million yuan, marking a dual breakthrough in cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and the development of supply chain self-reliance, thereby injecting strong momentum into the company’s high-quality development.
