“Which leaders are on duty? Are there any discrepancies between the actual on-duty roster and the official schedule? Have there been any instances of employees leaving their posts without authorization or abandoning their stations?” From May 1 to 5, a inspection team comprising representatives from the Discipline Inspection Commission, the Safety Production Department, the General Office, the Party and Mass Work Department, and the Human Resources Department of Shenma Shares conducted spot checks at all production units within the nylon business segment.
The inspection team adhered to a problem- and goal-oriented approach, employing the “four noes and two direct” methodology to conduct in-depth inspections at various units. Through on-site inspections, review of ledgers and records, and interviews with personnel, the team carried out spot checks focusing on safety management during holidays, the on-duty and shift-leadership arrangements for cadres, and compliance with integrity requirements during festive periods.
During routine inspections of on-duty and shift-leadership arrangements, the inspection team rigorously verified the on-duty leaders at each unit in accordance with the duty roster, meticulously reviewed the duty logs, and directly queried the on-duty leaders about the current production status. The team enforced strict oversight to prevent such violations as on-duty leaders failing to oversee production or safety-related functions, unauthorized absence from duty posts, unauthorised substitution of shifts, and reporting for duty under the influence of alcohol.
During the on-site safety inspection, the inspection team conducted a thorough examination of the production areas, with particular focus on the fulfillment of safety responsibilities by personnel at their posts, the identification and remediation of potential hazards, protective measures for special operations conducted on site, and the availability and proper configuration of fire-fighting equipment and emergency response facilities.
The inspection team also conducted a special inspection on the management of official vehicles and the implementation of the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation.
With regard to issues identified during the inspection, the inspection team issued on-site notices of rectification, requiring the relevant entities to carry out corrective measures within a specified time frame to ensure that all issues are fully addressed and no hidden risks remain.
To ensure the safety and stability of the production process, during the holiday period the head of the Safety Production Department at Shenma Shares proactively attended night-shift dispatch meetings at several units and mandated that all units within each business segment implement a standardized rock-slab dispatch meeting system. This initiative aims to standardize management procedures, refine operational measures, and ensure that any production abnormalities are promptly identified and addressed as quickly as possible.
The Safety Production Department of Shenma Shares emphasizes that holiday periods are peak times for workplace safety accidents. Recently, various safety incidents have occurred frequently across the industry; all units must learn from these lessons, remain constantly vigilant, and resolutely reject the “four unhealthy tendencies” in safety management—namely, favoritism, empiricism, formalism, and bureaucratic practices. They must earnestly implement the spirit of the April Safety Office Meeting of Shenma Shares, maintain strict vigilance over workplace safety, act as proactive “whistleblowers” for plant operations, and uphold rigorous and pragmatic work styles to firmly safeguard safety during the holiday period.
Going forward, Shenma Shares will continue to strengthen safety management, refine its routine inspection mechanisms, consistently conduct hazard identification and remediation for production units, and rigorously oversee the disciplinary compliance of leading cadres, thereby effectively ensuring stable and efficient production and operations.
