Recently, the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology officially released the list of the first batch of specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SMEs that have passed the re‑evaluation for 2026. Thanks to sustained investment in R&D and innovation, standardized and meticulous production and operational management, and strong competitive advantages in the field of intelligent manufacturing, four entities within the Group—including the Airbag Yarn Company—successfully passed this round of re‑evaluation.

The “Little Giant” designation for specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises is an authoritative recognition at both the national and provincial levels, assessing the degree of specialization, refinement, distinctiveness, and innovation among small and medium-sized enterprises. This re‑evaluation not only evaluates the focus of a company’s core business but also conducts a comprehensive “health check” on R&D investment intensity, the independence of its core technologies, its market share in niche segments, and overall operational quality. The four group entities that passed this review span such fields as advanced chemical materials, deep processing of nylon, intelligent electrical equipment, and green building materials.

Successfully passing the re‑examination means that the enterprise continues to hold this important credential for tiered cultivation of high‑quality SMEs. This serves as a prerequisite for applying to become a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche fields, and also grants priority access to provincial special funds for high‑quality manufacturing development, technological upgrading, digital transformation, and other industry‑and‑information‑technology projects. Furthermore, the enterprise will be included in the key cultivation pool of provincial and municipal industry‑and‑information‑technology authorities, receiving ongoing policy guidance. At the same time, the enterprise can benefit from the province’s exclusive “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative Loan,” enjoying lower guarantee costs and diversified financing channels. Under equivalent conditions, its new, renovated, or expanded projects will receive preferential treatment in land allocation, energy‑consumption quotas, and emission‑permit allocations. Leveraging this official certification, the enterprise can strengthen its competitive edge in tendering and market expansion, while continuously enhancing its brand credibility and industry competitiveness.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Provisional Measures for the Hierarchical Cultivation and Management of High-Quality SMEs, as well as the relevant implementation rules of Henan Province, a total of 1,255 enterprises across the province have successfully passed this round of re‑examination, following recommendations from local MIIT departments, rigorous expert reviews, and public announcement. Among the companies listed are Shenma Bolaimai (Pingdingshan) Airbag Filament Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Pingmei Shenma Electric Co., Ltd., Qianye New Materials Company of Jiaomei Group, and Kaifeng Longyu Chemical Co., Ltd.

Enterprises that pass this re‑examination will be eligible for relevant policy support and nurturing services, with a validity period of two and a half years.
