On March 18, the Safety Production Department of Shenma Shares convened a symposium in the dispatching conference room of the Nylon Chemical Company, bringing together production managers and representatives of frontline team leaders from all units within the nylon business segment.
During the symposium, Nylon Chemical Company and Edian Company shared their explorations in refining night-shift production coordination meetings, while Nylon Technology Company, Hydrochemical Company, and Tire Cord Fabric Development Company highlighted the positive impact of implementing such meetings on production stability and staff training. Several dispatchers and team leaders from the production front line also drew on their practical experience to candidly discuss their firsthand impressions after participating in night-shift production coordination meetings.
In early February, Shenma Shares issued the “Notice on Implementing Night-Shift Production Coordination Meetings.” All units within the Nylon Business Unit attached great importance to this initiative: those that already had similar procedures refined and enhanced them, while those that had not yet established such procedures swiftly put in place the necessary systems and ensured their effective implementation. In little more than a month, night-shift production coordination meetings have been fully institutionalized and are now held on a regular, routine basis across the entire Nylon Business Unit.
Since the implementation of this system, night-shift production dispatching across all units within the business segment has achieved significant results. First, it has effectively addressed the issues of untimely and inaccurate information transmission during night-shift operations, ensuring clear shift handovers, unambiguous instructions, and a closed-loop information system, thereby guaranteeing coordinated and unified production command. Second, it provides a platform for rapid communication, coordination, and response to various emergencies that may arise during the night shift, significantly enhancing the efficiency of handling abnormal operating conditions. Third, all units have made full use of dispatch meetings to promptly convey the relevant directives and operational updates from the Group, the business segment, and the company, enabling shift supervisors to grasp the overall situation at the earliest opportunity and accurately communicate it to every on-duty employee, thus effectively resolving the “last-mile” challenge in information dissemination. Fourth, through the effective implementation of the night-shift dispatch meeting system, risk control and process management during nighttime production have been further strengthened, solidifying the foundation for safe production and providing robust assurance for the safe, stable, and long-term operation of the enterprise’s production systems.
The Night-Shift Production Dispatch Meeting System is a work-safety management regime introduced in 2026 by Shenma Shares for all production units within the nylon business segment that operate shift-based production. According to the system’s requirements, each unit must convene the night-shift production dispatch meeting exactly one hour after the night-shift personnel take over, with the meeting duration strictly limited to no more than 30 minutes in principle. The shift foremen of each operating unit are required to deliver focused briefings based on the actual production conditions of their respective units. In the event of sudden production abnormalities, the on-duty personnel shall conduct joint deliberations and pool their collective expertise to collaboratively coordinate staffing adjustments, spare-parts replenishment, and other support measures, thereby making every effort to ensure smooth and orderly night-shift operations.
Going forward, all units within the nylon business segment will strictly adhere to Shenma Shares’ requirements by thoroughly reviewing and summarizing the best practices and effective approaches implemented since the introduction of the night-shift production dispatch meeting system, and by replicating and promoting these successful initiatives. At the same time, the Safety Production Department of Shenma Shares has instructed all units to remain problem- and results-oriented, continuously refine the format and content of the night-shift production dispatch meetings, consistently enhance the quality and efficiency of these meetings, and ensure stable and efficient production operations.
